Prune Butter Cake

250 pitted prunes - remove 6 pieces for deco
1 cup water
(lepas tu blend minus yang 6 pieces tad - boil sampai tinggal air sedikiti)

350 gram self raising flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

340 gram butter
230 gram sugar
5 eggs

3/4 cup evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
(rerigerated)

Cream untuk sapu atas cake: (butter cream)
250 gram butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/4 cup mashed prunes)

Mix sugar, evo milk and vanilla (for buttercream) together and stirtill sugar hancur lepas tu masuk fridge

Masak prunes dalam air for 15 min sampai lembut. Lepas tu draiin the water BUT set aside 1/3 cup of prune liquid.

Mash the cooked prune..BUT reserved /4 cup for buttercream

Pukul butter sampai soft then masuk gula pukul sampai jadi ringan...
Masuk telur
masuk vanila & cooked prunes
masukan sifted flour & garam
masukan prune liquid
bakarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......1 jam

Resepi buttercream lak...
pukul butter until soft...add the cold milk & sugar mixture continue to beat until the icing becomes smooth and spreading consistency..add in the mashed prune
sapu keliling cake..lepas tu letak la 6 biji prunes tadi tu atas cake...sedappppp!!!!
